Built in 1888, the Great Northern 7575 "Litchfield" has had a long and lively history - including service as a private car from 1907 to 1927 for Great Northern executives. From the inlaid car number above its entrance doors to an all glass rear vestibule, The Litchfield is in extraordinarily beautiful condition. Intelligently restored, inside and out, it retains its orginal quarter-sawn oak paneling and other rich, period construction details. The main observation room is approximately 45' long and the second room is approximately 20" long.
